Background:

IHOP restaurants nationwide will celebrate National Pancake Day on Tuesday, February 23, 2010 from 7am to 10pm. All Charleston area IHOP restaurants will be offering a free short stack of their buttermilk pancakes to each guest. In exchange for the free flapjacks, IHOP will ask guests to consider making a voluntary contribution to our local Children's Miracle Network Hospital, MUSC Children's Hospital.

To date, the company has raised almost $3.5 million for Children’s Miracle Network and other local charities nationwide.  This year, IHOP hopes to raise $1.5 million, helping them reach their $5 million cumulative goal for the past 5 years.
