THE 7TH ANNUAL ST. PADDY’S DAY BLOCK PARTY & PARADE

 

Saturday, March 13th   12:30PM - 8PM

 

East Montague Avenue in the Olde Village of North Charleston near Park Circle

 

Come join the biggest St. Patrick’s Day street party in the Lowcountry on Saturday, March 13th in the Olde Village of North Charleston (located on East Montague Avenue near Park Circle).  The 7th Annual “St. Paddy’s Day Block Party” is from 12:30 PM – 8PM and promises fun for the entire family.

 

East Montague Avenue will be closed to vehicle traffic from Virginia Avenue to O’Hear Avenue for the festivities.

 

The celebration includes live bands, Irish dancing, bagpipe music, a jump castle, face painting, a mechanical bull, food vendors, corned beef and cabbage, a DJ, Irish trivia, prizes and much more.

 

Live Irish music by KARL BYRNE and party music by one of Charleston’s favorite party bands SUPER DELUXE.

 

This year’s event will get kicked off with a parade starting at Park Place East (the street adjacent to E. Montague Avenue and across from Park Circle Community Center) at 12:30 PM. The parade route will go down E. Montague Avenue to the block party location near Virginia Ave. East Montague will be closed from Park Place East to O’Hear Avenue at 12:00 PM for the duration of the parade.  The parade Grand Marshall will be city of North Charleston Mayor Keith Summey.

 

The party, parade and parking are free to the public.
