Bored To Death
Boredom can be bad for your health – even deadly. According to researchers at University college London, boredom itself won’t kill you – but it could be a symptom of other risky behavior like drinking, smoking, taking drugs or having a psychological problem. Researchers said that based on their findings, it wouldn’t be surprising if people who are bored are more susceptible to heart attacks. Depression has long been linked as a risk factor for heart disease. They believe it is possible that when people are bored, dangerous hormones are released in the body that stress the heart.
